3 Hour Diet

Meal Frequency And Losing Weight
When I came across the 3
Hour Diet I thought what a joke. No way can you actually lose
weight in 3 hours without surgery. As I read further into the
diet, I realized it was not about losing weight in 3 hours.
This plan works in conjunction with an exercise routine to help
you lose weight.
The idea is to eat every
3 hours. I could not figure out at first how eating so much
could help you lose weight. I was afraid so much eating would
make me gain more.
Then I realized that
eating every 3 hours was basically three meals and a few snacks
each day. That is when I decided to give it a try. I figured at
least would not be hungry all the time like with some
diets.
How you lose weight with
the 3 Hour Diet is you eat more regularly. Eating every 3 hours
allows your blood sugar to stay level, which allows the body to
burn fuel at a more heightened state. In essence you are
training your body to know it will always be nourished. Instead
of storing nutrients for later and slowing down, the body
speeds up and uses the energy from the food now.
You also learned to
combine foods so they get utilized better. I was shown to
always eat protein with my carbs, that way I used all the
sugars first and did not store them. The protein would fill me
up faster so that my sugar intake would be less. This allowed
me to eat the foods I love, without eating them in
excess.
I did find with the 3
Hour Diet that I had to drink plenty of water, as the
recommendation was eight glasses. This helped you to keep off
the water weight and kept you hydrated at all times and fuller.
I liked how the plan allowed for fast food and processed
foods.
Many dieting experts
would disagree with this thinking, but when you are the one who
is dieting, this treat makes it easier. While I will always
recommend that you eat healthy and stay away from junk foods, a
little cheating cannot hurt too much.
I did have to calorie
count a bit, but not enough to be really annoyed. I did not
need to keep a daily log or journal at all, but had to make
mental notes from time to time.
For the most part, I can
say that the 3 Hour Diet is a
good one. It is a great beginning to how to eat smaller
portions and healthier choices. I found that I learned how to
balance when and when I ate so that I could feel full, eat the
foods I enjoyed, but did not eat too much.
This is a great diet and
exercise regime for anyone who is learning how to diet for the
first time. If you are looking for an easy diet to follow that
allows you some freedom, this diet may be just what you
need.
