6 Week Body Makeover Diet

Can You Really Lose Weight By Customizing Your
Diet For Your Body?
The 6 Week Body Makeover
is a diet plan that claims to help you lose weight and keep it
off by reprogramming your metabolism. Unlike other programs,
this one says you do not have to deal with calorie counting,
hard to follow food preparation and choices, and time consuming
exercise.
In today’s world, people
want a diet and exercise plan that fits their on the go needs.
I figured I would give this one a shot since it would be based
on me, not a one size fits all regime. Although it seemed to be
easy enough to follow, I did find this plan to be quite time
consuming.
I was very happy to see
that the 6 Week Body Makeover was not another diet fad that I
would have to spend hundreds of dollars on special prepackaged
meals, shakes, or pills. I could not stand to deal with another
diet that limited me so strictly.
I could customize my plan
to how I reacted to food and what I needed to make my
metabolism burn more fat efficiently. The plan claimed that
following the individualized diet and prescribed exercise
program, I could easily reshape my body into what I have always
wanted.
While this sounded too
good to be true, I had to give it a try. I would get a videos,
my blueprinting kit, exercise bands, eating plans, dining out
tips, motivational cassettes, and the Mini plan. All these were
to help me on my permanent weight loss journey.
What I was to get out of
the 6 Week Body Makeover was
not exactly as I purchased. The claim to lose up to 30 pounds
in six weeks was a bit disappointing. I did not lose that much
and gained some back after finishing the diet. I used the
proper tools to know what type of body I had and followed the
diet laid out for me completely. I worked on my problem areas
and did all that the book and videos said to do.
The issues I had were
that calories were very little, meals were hard to prepare and
time consuming, and the exercise regime took up too much time.
When I went off the diet, I realized that I could not eat more
calories or I would just regain the weight, which is what I
did.
Over all, the 6 Week Body
Makeover is an efficient diet if you never go off of it. I
personally would not recommend it, as it was a bit over priced
and not user friendly. If you do decide to spend the money you
can rest assured that you will drop some, if not all the 30
pounds that it claims.
Just be aware that you
will need to slowly increase your calories over time and
exercise more vigorously and often to keep the weight off after
the plan is over. Honestly, there are much easier and less
expensive diets to follow that have more lasting
results.
