Bistro MD Diet Program

The diet program many first saw on Dr. Phil’s
Show
Bistro MD
Diet Program is one of the newer diets that many people first
saw advertised on Dr. Phil’s show. I don’t personally watch the
show, but a friend of mine told me about the diet and knew that
I had been looking for something that would help me at
work.
I didn’t have
a problem staying on a diet when I wasn’t working—it was the
work week that became my downfall. I found out that the Bistro
MD diet program consisted on four different plans—full week
with or without snacks and a workweek with or without snacks.
It was the perfect solution to my workweek problems with, an
opportunity to forego the worries and choosing low calorie
breakfast and lunch selections.
Like many
career women, I had gained weight over the years because of the
constant running back and forth, rushing around for meetings,
and just not having time to sit down and eat a complete meal.
It was easy enough on the weekends, but on weekdays I just
didn’t have the time.
Some people
don’t like the idea of pre-packaged and pre-selected foods, and
to be honest, neither do I under ordinary circumstances. The
problem is when I’m working throughout the week I don’t have
much time to prepare healthy and nutritious meals, thus the
reason I found myself needing to lose weight in the first place
and turned to the Bistro MD diet.
My tastes may
be different than those of other people, but even though the
meals delivered to my home for the BistroMD diet program were
better than other prepared foods I have tasted, they were no
comparison to those you can prepare yourself. Of course, this
is always going to be the taste any time you substitute the
cooking of someone else for what you can lovingly prepare
yourself.
Unlike many
other diets of this type, there was a variety of menus, and
these were rotated on a weekly basis so that you did not become
bored with the menus. I was able to stay on the program without
too much effort for this reason—something that had caused me to
veer away from other diets I had tried.
The biggest
drawback to the Bistro MD
diet is the cost—a work week program with snacks averages
$25.99 per day while the full week version with snacks costs
$24.28 per day, much more than you would pay to eat at home or
even many restaurants.
I was
fortunate to only have 15 pounds to lose, but on the down side,
it was very difficult to adjust again to eating normal foods. I
have to be honest and say the diet does not provide help with
lifestyle changes, only with weight loss.
You must be
willing to prepare for the future by learning what type of
foods will help you remain at your goal weight. If you are
looking for something to which you don’t need to give thought,
this program will certainly work for you.
