Blood Type Diet

Is There Really A Way Of Dieting For Your
Specific Type?
According to the Blood
Type Diet, there is. I myself felt skeptical when reading about
this diet. I felt like nothing is really proven for sure unless
I try it myself. I had been on a weight loss journey for a
while and was getting really tired of all the fad diets out
there.
I decided to give this
diet a try and see if the results paid off. The basic plan was
to cut out all the things in my diet that were potentially
keeping me from losing weight. Being a type O blood type I had
to cut out a lot of dairy and some fruits. I also had to set up
a vigorous exercise regimen. It sounded a bit complicated, but
I started it nonetheless.
My first week on the
Blood Type Diet went ok, but I was left craving some of the
foods that I was no longer able to eat. I wanted oranges and
orange juice, but that had been restricted from my diet. I went
shopping for the meal plan and spent $100 on a few things. I
was shocked at the expense, but I thought maybe the end result
would be worth the expense.
The diet was based more
on eating healthier foods. So I was all for changing my eating
habits. The Blood Type Diet
seemed like something that was very promising and I was
starting to feel better by eating healthier. I wasn’t thrilled
about continuously spending a large amount of money on just a
few items, but I kept it going.
I was able to lose some
weight in the first few weeks, but it was becoming increasingly
difficult to pay for the meal plans. Spending money like I was
was making me regret the diet. Therefore, I decided to continue
research about other means of losing weight. This diet just
wasn’t going to be something I could afford to do.
Instead of following the
exact rules of the diet plan I decided to switch up some of the
products I had been buying with lower fat counterparts that
were easier on the wallet. The Blood Type Diet is something I
felt that was more there for people who had a lot of time and
money to put out there for the weight loss.
Recommending this diet to
my friends is probably something I won’t be doing. I did lose
weight, but was miserable throughout the time period of
actually being on the Blood Type
Diet. Switching to different foods
and tracking what I was eating seemed a more efficient way of
losing the weight I wanted, without hurting my bank
account.
If you are willing to
spend a lot of money on the food you are supposed to consume on
the Blood Type Diet, and then by all means go for it! It does
work, just not something I could keep in my budget. I was ready
for results and did start to see them, but couldn’t afford to
keep it going.
