Chefs Diet

Is the Chefs Diet any different?
When I first looked into the Chefs Diet, my
first thought was that it was just another version of other plans that required you to purchase their food. In
spite of my scepticism, I decided to try it.
I had been trying for many years to lose twenty pounds I had
gained after I had my youngest child, and nothing was working.
Of course, it didn’t help that my family expected home-cooked
meals that included desserts and enjoyed high-calorie snacks on a regular basis.
On the other hand, I envied the fast metabolisms that both of my
sons and their father enjoyed—they never had to worry about gaining weight because they burned calories at such a
fast rate.
Even though the Chefs Diet offers packaged
foods, it gives you several options with their meal plan. The diet is based on the Zone Diet with options that
include breakfast and dinner with two snacks for only $14.95 per day. Three daily meals with two snacks is only
$22.95 per day, much cheaper than many other plans of its type.
Although that may be somewhat high for many budgets, I managed to
fit it into mine by giving up some luxuries such as eating dinner out and shopping for needless items. I had to
make some sacrifices, and I was willing to do that if it was going to help me return to my former slender
body.
My results may not be typical, but I was able to get rid of those
twenty pounds in less than three months. On the average I lost about seven to eight pounds monthly, but I also
incorporated extensive exercise into my program, which helped me boost my metabolism to a level close to that of my
husband and sons.
Some friends who joined me on the Chefs
Diet lost anywhere from five to fifteen pounds a week depending on their own personal goals. I could have lost
more if I had wanted to lose weight quickly, but I chose to lose at a slower pace and adjusted my eating to allow
for that choice. My job as a manager for an investment firm prevented me from avoiding high calorie lunches every
day, so there were times I was on the road and meeting clients for lunch and sometimes dinner.
For those who are able and willing to stay strictly on the
Chefs Diet program, you will lose weight at a faster pace. You do want to remember, however, that
losing weight slower means you will keep it off longer. I’m going on three months now, and I haven’t gained back
any of the twenty pounds I lost. I won’t say it’s been easy because I’ve had to teach myself how to change my
lifestyle to remain trim, but it has been worth every bit of it.
If you aren’t good at preparing low-calorie nutritious and
delicious foods, you will love the Chefs Diet. There is no wondering how to prepare separate meals
for yourself or how you’re going to lose weight and still provide tasty meals for your family.
This diet includes everything you need to get rid of that excess
weight before summer rolls around again.
