Choosing to lose weight the smart
way
My review of
the Diet Smart Weight Loss plan. I had tried many diets in the
past but couldn’t seem to find one that really provided
satisfactory results. Part of that is probably because I find
it difficult to stay with any diet plan for very long—I become
bored with the or frustrated if I don’t lose any weight at
all.
I don’t want
to lose weight quickly by any means, but I do want to find a
diet program that will allow me to lose weight steadily even if
it’s only one or two pounds a week.
I had just
given up on another diet program that didn’t appeal to me when
I found the Diet Smart weight loss plan book in the bookstore.
I browsed through it and decided to buy it and try the program.
It wounded easier than many diets I had tried and wasn’t as
restrictive in the calorie allowances.
I discovered
through the book that there are many dieters just like I
am—they want to get off the diet as soon as possible because
it’s too restrictive or boring.
Diet Smart weight loss
plan consists of the dieter counting daily calories
that amount of eight times their body weight. In addition you
weight yourself in the morning and evening in order to keep the
program fresh in your mind. It has no restricted foods, only
limited ones that you should consume no more than once a
week.
Many
vegetables are free foods which is an encouragement to many
people who don’t like the idea of eating vegetables. It was
very easy for me to remain on this diet, and as my weight
dropped, my calorie intake increased according to my program
goals. Being able to eat five or six times daily prevented me
from being hungry.
Although
exercise is encouraged, it is not something that is required
from the start. Since I was not a fan of exercise that part
appealed to me. However, as the weight began to drop, I found
that I wanted to exercise in order to not only increase my
body’s metabolism but to tone those areas where I lost
weight.
I have to
admit this was the easiest diet I ever tried, and even though
the weight loss was slow, it was consistent. I averaged a loss
of about seven pounds monthly, but the weight I lost has stayed
off for over a year now.
Using the
Diet Smart weight loss plan helped me lose weight slowly
so that I would be able to keep it off longer. I had tried
diets before that promoted rapid weight loss and gained the
weight back when the program ended. Diet Smart weight loss
plan helped me not only lose weight but make lifestyle
changes that would prevent me from gaining the weight
back.
I now consume
calories equivalent to eleven times my body weight, which for
me is around 1,300 calories daily. I now exercise regularly and
have learned to drink plenty of water. The Diet Smart weight
loss plan diet ended years of frustration with diets and has
taught me how to eat healthy foods rather than empty
calories.
