Foot Scrubs - One Step Closer To Beautiful
Feet
Is There A Secret To Soft, Beautiful
Feet?
You too can
have soft, gorgeous feet using foot scrubs. Being on your feet
all day can have adverse effects on the shape they are in. You
can find that your feet are cracked, dry, and all around
callused.
There
are several ways to remedy this issue, yet some can be time
consuming endeavors that are not all that appealing. Using good
foot scrubs can really help you to save time and your
feet.
Why
Use Foot Scrubs Over Other Tools
There are so
many reasons foot scrubs
are the products of choice on the market today.
Pumice stones, filing tools, and foot lotions are not only time
consuming, they do not always have the desired
effects.
It can take
much of your time each day to file down calluses and exfoliate
dry skin. Top that off with soaking, drying, cleansing, and
applying creams or lotions, and you better be ready to spend
quite a bit of time on your feet.
Good foot
scrubs have an exfoliator already in them to help remove
calluses and dry skin naturally. Unlike filing, your feet will
not need to be re-washed a second time or red and raw after
from removing healthy layers of skin.
Most of the
products available also have a built in moisturizer in them so
you do not need to apply more products after the
scrub.
Choosing The Right Product For
You
When choosing
the right foot scrub, it is important to find one that will
help with your specific needs. If dry skin is an issue be sure
to look for products that have sea salt or another type of
exfoliator in them.
This will
allow you to scrub your feet and remove dead skin off of them,
without causing damage to the underlying layers. Most of these
scrubs come with a moisturizer built in, to add the essential
vitamins and minerals back to the feet for proper
healing.
If you have
cracks in the skin on your feet, you will want to avoid scrubs
with perfumes in them. If the scent permeates the tender,
inflamed cracks it can burn and irritate it. Make sure that any
fragrances are natural and not too harsh.
Getting The Best Use Out Of Your
Scrub
If you want
to get the best use out of your foot scrub, it is better to use
it after you plan to be off your feet for the night. This
allows your feet to rest and also the scrub to do its
job.
Whether you
use the product in the tub with a nightly relaxing bath, or
simply soak your feet in a basin, you will find that allowing
your feet to rest after treatment works best.
The first
step in reclaiming your soft, beautiful feet is soaking. Allow
them to be in as hot of water you can stand for a minimum of 10
minutes before scrubbing. This allows dead and dry skin to
loosen up and makes the scrub more effective.
Follow the
directions on the product you have chosen and rinse. For best
results dry each foot thoroughly, then allow your feet to air
out for a minimum of one hour. Follow these steps at least
every other night and you will find that your feet will begin
to look as good as new.
