Hilton Head Metabolism Diet
Can You Really Boost Your Metabolism With A
Diet?
The Hilton Head
Metabolism Diet is basically a metabolism boosting diet that
was recommended to me by a friend. Supposedly, you boost your
metabolism within two weeks using a low calorie diet of
approximately one thousand calories per day. I was not sure how
this was going to work, but I figured why not try.
The calories are adjusted
on bi-weekly basis, so it is not like you have to dive right
in. I could track what I eat now and then adjust down every
other week till I got down to the 1000 calories I needed to be
on.
The Hilton Head
Metabolism Diet consists of three main meals and two mini meals
each day. The two smaller meals are between lunch and dinner,
and later in the evening after your last large meal.
My exercise regime
consists of twenty minutes of cardio after two of my meals each
day. Three times per week I add in some toning workouts as
well. Always be sure to talk to your doctor before starting any
new work out routine.
On the Hilton Head
Metabolism Diet, my meals consist of low calorie and fat, with
a high complex carbohydrate regime. You eat the five smaller
meals high in carbs to allow your body just enough fuel to get
you through the day and to boost your metabolism enough to burn
stored fat the rest of the time.
You will need to maintain
the Hilton Head Metabolism diet once the desired weight is
lost. Make sure you turn this into a lifestyle, rather than a
temporary fix.
There are a few must need
items if you are going to try the Hilton Head Metabolism Diet.
You will want to get a measuring cup, spoons, and a food scale.
These items along with a food journal are extremely helpful in
keeping track of your total fat and calorie intake of
everything you eat and drink during a day.
The Hilton Head Metabolism Diet also
asks that you stay away from salt, so I do my best to stay away
from high sodium foods. This includes processed and many
pre-cooked foods as well.
It is recommended to
drink a minimum of five glasses of water per day. I also had to
reduce my caffeine and soda intake as well. With a very
specific diet like this one, it is important to make sure not
to over look any part of it.
I have found that Hilton
Head Metabolism Diet is a great diet for some fast results, but
you have to stay on a maintenance diet for life. If you think
of it as a life-changing event you will go very far. I truly
like how strict it was and this is very helpful for those who
are in need of structure like I am.
If you are looking for a
diet that is based on burning the fat you already have and only
eating what you need, than this is the diet for you. I have
found that the weight just melts off once you get into
gear.
If you are like me and
have some pounds to lose and want to lose fast, try this diet
today. You will not be disappointed.
