Hoodia Gordonii Diet Pills

Will the Hoodia Gordonii Diet Pills work?
I had been hearing a lot of support for the Hoodia
Gordonii Diet Pills, but I had no idea what it was or whether it was going to work. It was pretty much
taunted as a “miracle diet pill,” which made me sceptical.
I had heard that about so many diet products I had tried in the
past, and none of them even worked. I had second thoughts about it, but the
Hoodia Gordonii Diet Pills testimonials I read were so positive that it drew my attention.
Before I tried Hoodia Gordonii Diet Pills,
I did some research on its origin and uses and discovered that
Hoodia Gordonii is a native South African plant from the Kalahari Desert that looks similar to a cactus.
According to history, South African Bushmen used to eat the plant during their long
trips to the desert in order to prevent hunger pangs. Researchers have been able to identify the molecule that is
responsible for appetite suppression, naming it P57, but efforts to produce P57 synthetically have been
unsuccessful.
Phytopharm currently owns the patent on Hoodia and is working
with Unilever to develop a food line that contains Hoodia, which will be available in 2010. In the meantime,
supplies of pure Hoodia Gordonii are limited and very expensive, the first key to authenticity.
Since only Hoodia Gordonii has the appetite suppressant powers,
many products on the market contain limited amounts of Hoodia, though probably not Hoodia Gordonii. I had a very
difficult time finding REAL Hoodia Gordonii, and when I did, it was VERY expensive, over $40 for a 30 day
supply.
The P57 molecule is the active ingredient in Hoodia Gordonii and
is the key to its natural appetite suppressant qualities. What happens is the P57 molecule “fools” the brain into
thinking you are full even if you haven’t had anything to eat. To me that seemed rather hard to believe—after all,
one needs food to survive.
On the other hand, cutting back on the amount of food you eat at
meals and in between meals are likely to help you lose weight. After all, losing weight means burning more calories
than you consume, so if you’re reducing your caloric intake, you will lose weight. Real Hoodia Gordonii is capable
of reducing your caloric intake by as much as 1,000 calories daily.
I didn’t have much weight to lose, just about 20 pounds, and
though it did help with appetite suppression, I didn’t see that it eliminated my appetite as the claims said. On
the other hand, it may have been the distinction between real hunger and hormonal hunger, the latter of which
Hoodia Gordonii Diet Pills are more effective in suppressing.
We need food to survive, so you don’t want to skip meals even if
you don’t feel hungry. You will learn to eat less and only eat what is required to stay healthy and boost your
energy level.
I would not recommend Hoodia Gordonii Diet
Pills for anyone who has a great deal of weight to lose. With the strong appetite suppressant qualities, the
possibility of turning someone into an anorexic enters my mind. The longer a person goes without eating a normal
amount of food, the higher the chances are that they will become less dependent upon food and more dependent upon
losing weight. That’s not scientific evidence, of course, but my opinion.
The Hoodia Gordonii Diet Pills do work, but
there is no scientific evidence regarding any long-term effects or benefits at the present time.
