Negative Calorie Diet

Can you really lose weight without cutting
calories?
I have to
admit when I first heard about the Negative Calorie Diet I was
sceptical. There was no way possible I was going to lose weight
without cutting calories and engaging in an intense fitness
program.
Reducing
calories and exercising intensively were the only ways I knew
to lose weight and though I had not been very successful, I
accomplished more than by continuing to eat the same way and
exercise very little. My best friend told me about the diet
several years ago, but I was still hesitant until I saw her
lose twenty pounds in just a couple of months.
After seeing
the results she realized from the Negative Calorie
Diet book, I ordered a copy for myself. She had tried to
explain to me the concept of the diet, but it still made no
sense to me. I knew that metabolism had everything to do with
weight loss but what I didn’t know was there are about a
hundred different foods that have the ability to boost your
metabolism by speeding up the metabolism.
By eating as
much as possible of these “fat burning” foods every day, your
metabolic system will work harder to burn the fat and you will
lose weight. The book also include three fat-burning exercises
that you do three times a week for only fifteen minutes—not
very intense compared to what I had to do on other diets I had
tried.
On the
Negative Calorie Diet
I did not have to reduce calories though I did find myself
eliminating empty calories in an effort to reduce the excess
calories I was consuming. I was surprised to discover how easy
the diet was to follow, and I was never hungry or tired as I
had been on other diets I had tried.
I discovered
when reading the book that the secret to this diet is not
eating less or consuming low-fat foods but boosting the
metabolism with diet and exercise. As I began to lose weight I
realized that the problem I had been having from the start was
not eating too much food but eating the wrong foods. Certainly
I had my share of junk food but even when I eliminated it I
didn’t have success with diets.
Using the
concepts of the Negative Calorie Diet I was able to lose
fifteen pounds in a little less than thirty days. Although I
hadn’t expected or wanted to lose weight that quickly, I
learned that I could still keep the weight off if I kept my
metabolism running at high speed. I also learned to change my
lifestyle so that I was eating healthier foods and more of
those with fat-burning ability.
It was a
welcome change to have to buy new clothes after struggling with
the extra weight for so many years. For some people fifteen
pounds may not seem like very much but for someone who wore a
size 5 wedding dress, there was a big difference.
