No Flour, No Sugar Diet
Lose Weight By Eliminating Added Sugar And Flour Based Foods

I found that the No Flour, No Sugar Diet was one of the diets that came highly recommended from most nutritionists. The reason being is that eliminating or at least cutting back on refined sugars and flours can really help you lose weight. These ingredients are nothing more than empty calories and just get converted into fat. You get nothing nutrient wise from either of these types of foods.
The idea is to reduce carbohydrates and fatty foods from the diet. These low carb, low fat diets are the most talked about and successful for most on the market today. The book does go into detail about other major dieting concepts as well, such as exercise and calorie counting.
I found the No Flour, No Sugar Diet pretty easy to follow. This diet did not require strict calorie counting like other low carb diets do. There was a list of foods to avoid and eat that made life much easier.
The book also encouraged at least 30 minutes per day of some form of exercise. While I am not a huge fan of exercise, I do agree that some form of activity is best when trying to lose weight. I found walking was best for me. It was the easiest thing to incorporate into my lifestyle.
The book is only 186 pages, and most of it was recipes. This made it fast to read and easy to understand. I figured since I was armed with about 14 days of meals and easy follow instructions I was good to go.
To my surprise the No Flour, No Sugar Diet was very easy to follow. I thought with the reduction of calories and all my favorite sugary, fatty goodies I would be dying by day two. I was not having an issue at all and actually found I did not miss my treats as much as I thought I would. I found that the meal choices did get monotonous after some time, but the weight loss was a very good incentive to not care.
The exercise definitely helped me out as I could eat more as I was burning more per day. The more you burn, the more you can eat. Not to mention, I felt better over all from eating healthy and the extra activity.
I completely recommend the No Flour. No Sugar Diet to anyone who wants to lose any amount of weight. While this book is very easy to read and follow, the recipe portion is a bit thin.
I can say that there are plenty of low carb, low fat recipes in the Internet that you can look up so that your meals do not get too repetitive. I was able to lose about 20 pounds in 2 months from the diet and exercise plan.
I am still on this diet, as it is a great way to stay healthy and maintain my weight loss. You cannot go wrong with this one.
