The brain and thyroid feedback system only runs well if we are balancing all the important aspects of our

The key to a properly metabolizing body is to provide it with the
essential nutrients to make it run. Choosing foods that can be easily converted to fuel and used in full is
crucial. One needs to be sure to provide the body with food regularly so the right amount of hormones can be
released and maintained.
This will allow your body to use food correctly, not make huge
fat stores, and maintain your energy levels through out the day. You will need to be sure you always eat what you
plan to burn off during the day. This will keep the thyroid healthy and able to keep up with supply and demand.
Over or under eating can lead to malfunctioning in the thyroid and cause issues throughout the body.
Sleeping Right Prevents Burnout
Sleep is also vital to how well our metabolism works. If you are
not properly rested you can burn your body out. It will have to work harder to maintain you longer, with less fuel
to do it with. Sleep is a very important part of daily life. It allows the body to rest and repair and gives the
brain and thyroid a break.
While not sleeping enough can cause issues, so can sleeping too
much. More than enough adequate rest can cause your metabolism to slow down. This can make you
lethargic during the day, as well as promote other health issues, and lower concentration. Balancing the amount of
rest you get is most important for proper functioning of the body and your health.
