While searching for a diet that could truly work, I came across Slimming World diet. This is one of the top diets in the UK, and has been for quite some time.

While many outside people have often wondered if the Slimming World diet can truly work, the members swear by it. I would say this diet is very much like the Weight Watchers diet in the states, or so it appears.

All the members pay to be apart of the Slimming World diet plan, at least to some degree. You can get support from other members and weight loss supporters. Being able to talk to others and experts while on your weight loss journey can truly up your rate for success.

The Slimming World diet offers two types of food choices, low calorie and high calorie foods. The low calorie free foods are those that you can eat as much as you want to of. They are considered free foods.

The higher calorie foods have all your daily vitamins and minerals. These foods are restricted to approximately four servings each day only. Food that do not fall into either of these two categories are to be consumed based on the goals you set for yourself and how many points they are.

Each food has a syn or synergy point system applied to it. How much each food or drink costs you in syns is determined by the Slimming World diet program. The great thing about syns is that you can eat those foods you should not; only you are in control of them.

One of the great features of the Slimming World diet is that you can choose between Green and Red days. Everyday you have a choice of what type of day you will have. Red or Original Days allow free foods including vegetables, fruits, white fish, lean meats, and eggs.

The Green Days allow include fruit and vegetables, grains, beans, pastas, rice, tofu, and eggs. All other foods are either high calorie and controlled or part of the syns program. I really loved how easy it was to calorie count and keep track of foods.

Some foods I did not think about at all and others I knew exactly what I could have. It took no time at all to begin to lose weight on this program. I also began to feel better in general from eating healthy.

I would recommend the Slimming World diet to anyone who wants to lose weight. This diet can help those who are looking at 10 to 100 pounds. The community can really help you get to your goal and the diet offers each user a new lifestyle to live on.

I met so many great people who helped me get to my desired weight and keep it off. This diet is more than just another fad program. It is a community and way of life.

If you are looking for a diet that offers so much more than just a book of recipes, then you should try out the Slimming World diet program. I know I have not once regretted it.
