The SparkPeople Diet is different
When looking for the right diet I came across the SparkPeople
diet online. This diet is not like any other. This is a member-based community that is free, unlike other
member based diet groups that charge for support and to know their secrets. This program has a bit of everything
for everyone.
Unlike other diets that make you eat specific foods or buy their products,
this community offers several nutritional information, exercise advice, and tons of support for any weight loss
need.
I found the motivational support the best and much needed, as it can get
really hard to stick to any diet when the going gets rough. SparkPeople diet offered me great
recipe libraries with calorie content that allowed me to choose what I ate. I could see if a specific food choice
was in my calorie range or not or plan the rest of my day on a specific food dish.
I loved being able to get online through out the day with my online friends
and get the support I needed. On rather difficult days I could also vent my frustrations to other people who truly
understood what I was going through.
One of the best things about this diet is that it is low protein, moderate
fat, and high carbohydrate. This means that if you are not one to like exercise you may want to try something else.
This would also apply for those trying to bulk up with muscle. High carb diets are for those who love to burn
energy. Part of this diet is aerobic exercise.
You have a lot of freedom with the SparkPeople diet,
possibly too much. I have noticed it is easy to get caught up in the socialization rather that weight loss. This
can be hard to not do with such a huge online community.
You are not pressured with this diet to stick to any strict amount or type of
food; so, you could find yourself not really dieting. It is very important to use the tools offered and watch what
you are eating so you can accomplish your goal.
Self-motivation is a huge portion of this program. I found the freedom
incredible as I have a very busy schedule and need to stay flexible. I utilized the personal log to keep track of
what I ate and how much I exercised.
I would totally recommend the SparkPeople diet to
anyone who likes a less structured and self-motivating diet plan. If you want to eat what you want and how you
want, according to what your lifestyle is, than this is the one.
You will enjoy all the support they have to offer and can easily accomplish
your goals fast. With all of the online tools this plan has to offer, there is no way to go wrong.
You will be able to watch what you eat, how much you exercise, and count
those calories the smart way. This diet really worked for me, it can work for you too.
